I completed the first years of my training in the trauma surgery team of Prof. Dr. Rudolf Schabus, specializing in the knee joint. Before my first arthroscopic operation, I assisted him with approximately 500 arthroscopies and 250 cruciate ligament surgeries.

During my many years as an orthopedic surgeon, I performed thousands of conservative and surgical treatments, from arthroscopic joint procedures such as meniscus and cruciate ligament operations to endoprostheses of knee and hip joints – I was able to contribute to helping both young and older patients, as well as athletes from many disciplines, rediscover the joy of movement.
